I purchased the full version of your tomb climber game from shareit, it is a few k larger than the shareware version I downloaded from your site and has a different file name “setup_tombclimber_full14.exe” but it still seems to be loading the shareware version according to the screen with the start buttons and won’t allow me to enter level passcodes higher than level 2.
Am I missing something? What can I do?

My children loved the shareware version and were excited about getting the full version. I was hoping to surprise them but…

share-it says:
File Size: 12.2 MB

You mentioned in another post that it should be 14 MB.

nice to hear, that your kids are enjoying our little game. Very Happy

As I am responsible for grafix and soundtrack, I can only guess to help you.
The name of the full-version file seems to be correct, you need to execute this file. After that TombClimber will be reinstalled. If you are running shareware or full version will be displayed in the left bottom corner of main menu screen.

I just installed the shareware version and after that I installed the full version, everything works correctly.

I sent an email to our developer who will pay attention to you problem as soon as possible.

Hello Jay,
Did you deinstall the shareware version and then install the full version?

What version number does the menu tell you?

Sorry about the problems. If it does not work I'll sent you another licence file, I guess this could be the problem. American windows with american system settings?

Thank you for responding, it is nice to know that someone is listening. I am a fairly proficient computer user, I originally tried to install the new “full” version I downloaded from share-it on top of the shareware version, and it was unsuccessful. I then uninstalled the shareware version, losing all my children’s progress by the way:-(, and then reinstalled the newly downloaded file, it was also unsuccessful, still showing shareware version 1.0 in the lower left of the start button screen. I then tried several times to uninstall the program from my PC, removing the directories and the registry entries as well, nothing helped. I am convinced, while the file is slightly larger (12,469 k to 12,156 k) than the original shareware version it is still a shareware version. I can send you the MD5 for the files I have and you can compare it to the files you have.

Share-it insisted this is a technical issue and needs to be resolved via “software publisher directly.”

I can also send you the customer receipt numbers from share-it if you can send me a direct link to the files you are using. I still want to make the point that the file that I downloaded from share-it is not the full version.

setup_tombshare.exe = 12,156 k
setup_tombclimber_full14.exe = 12,469 k

In the lower left of the screen with the start button it says “SHAREWARE VERSION 1.0”, in the credit screen it says “VERSION 1.0”

I have completely uninstalled it, the uninstall even states that it is 1.4 and the installer makes note of it, I am really confused.

Here are the MD5 I mentioned, just in case:

setup_tombclimber_full14.exe 5e4536f423a056312c47cd7af11eef2e
setup_tombshare.exe c5ccfcc73988b32c84cdf1eee7d6d4b6

Yes, this is a problem with the US system settings I bet.

I'll send you a new licence file.

You just have to copy that one into your TombClimber folder then.

I am Sad . I have downloaded this file 4 times. I have a very slow dial-up server. I purchased your Tombclimber after trying the shareware version. I then have tried numerous times to go beyond World 2 level 5. It just tells me that I need to purchase it if I like the game and that is it. I have contacted share-it three times regarding this and all I receive it the email telling me that they will be addressing this and I have not gotten anywhere. Today 4-27-07, I have requested my money back and if I don't receive it I will be contacting my credit company. Too bad.... this was a fun game but for $11.65 to get nothing more than the shareware version ... I am angry.[/b] Mad

but why do you ask here now after you requested your money back?

You should have done that before, it maybe just a problem with your language settings, I could have sent you a working licence without any problems...
